WebyneDB AI DBA

A database expert that reads your metrics, not a chatbot

WebyneDB AI DBA helps developers understand slow queries, database health and optimisation opportunities.

Advisory only. The AI DBA never modifies your production database. It shows you the change it would make, what it should improve and how to undo it — you decide whether to run it.

What it diagnoses

Every finding comes from your instance's own statistics — query timings, index usage, cache ratios, lock waits and replication state.

Slow-query detection

Finds the statements consuming the most database time and ranks them by total impact, not just worst case.

Query plan interpretation

Reads an EXPLAIN plan and says which node is expensive and why, in language an application developer can act on.

Missing index recommendations

Spots large tables being scanned sequentially far more often than by index, and proposes the index to add.

Redundant index detection

Flags large indexes that are barely read but maintained on every write.

Lock and connection diagnosis

Identifies blocked sessions and connection-pool pressure before they become an outage.

Cache and storage analysis

Reports cache hit ratio and storage headroom, and explains what a poor ratio means for latency.

Replication health

Tracks replica lag and flags a standby falling behind.

Natural-language answers

Ask "Why is my database slow?" and get an explanation grounded in your instance's actual measurements.

How a finding is presented

Health score

Advisory only

71/100

Found 1 critical issue and 1 recommendation.

Endpoint is reachable from any IP address

No allow-list is configured, so the database port accepts connection attempts from the entire internet. Credentials are the only barrier.

Running as a single node

Recovery from a node failure means restoring from the most recent backup, so the recovery point is however old that backup is.

Ask in plain language

Why is my database slow?Do I have any missing indexes? Is my connection pool under pressure?Am I safe from data loss right now?

AI DBA

Your database is not currently showing signs of being slow — the cache hit ratio is 98.6%, and only 6 of 200 connections are in use, with no queries waiting on locks.

The more pressing issue is exposure: the endpoint accepts connections from any address, so credentials are the only barrier. Adding your application servers to the allow-list would close that.

Answers are grounded in the measurements above. The AI is never asked to guess a number it was not given.

What it will not do

Change production on its own

There is no code path from the AI DBA to a write against your database. Autonomous remediation is only worth considering later, and only for well-tested, reversible operations.

Read your data

It works from aggregated statistics and normalised query shapes that the engine already collects — not from the rows in your tables.

Stop working without a model

The diagnostics are rule-based and run regardless. A language model only adds the plain-language explanation on top.

Point it at your slowest database

We will run an analysis and walk you through what it finds, with no obligation.
